What is this blog about?
It is about Reality, without the silly trappings of politics or religion.
It is about justice and freedom, not tradition or the will of the mob.
It is about personal freedom and intellectual freedom, and it is against the thradbare restraints of the church and the opinion of the majority.
It is in favor of the woman's right to choose, fro gay larriage, for pulling out of Iraq. It is also about personal preferences, stuffing vs. potatoes, top vs bottom, freedom vs repression, etc.
I want to hear from people about what they think are not just the problems we face today but what the solutions are, as you see them.
Let's start with a nice little controversy: gay marriage. Since this involves only civil marriage, I dont' se that religious beliefs have anything to do with it. What do you think? And aside from religion and tradition, are there any rasons not to allow gay citizens the smae status and rights as heterosexuals?
